I’m currently working as a web developer in the Emerging Experiences Group at
Merkle/Dentsu. Over the past two years, I’ve been focusing on online digital ads for vehicle brands, including 3D banners, web and native AR experiences, and 3D virtual showrooms.
Before joining Dentsu, I pursued an MFA in Design and Technology at Parsons School of Design at The New School. For my thesis project, I developed an interactive piece—
a "drinking machine" that could share a toast with its "users." I also collaborated with artist and professor
John Roach on an immersive sound + AR project, The Airborne Library, at Teton Arts Lab. After graduating, I taught a creative coding class called
Code Craft in Parsons undergraduate program.
Prior to that, I studied Computer and Information Science at the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC) in Chengdu. Midway through, I took a year off to reflect on what I wanted to do next, which led me to apply to art school. During that year, I also "accidentally" connected with a group of friends, and together started a TEDx program:
TEDxChengdu.
